CASE Redefines Compact Power With New TV620B Track Loader

CASE Construction Equipment says its new TV620B compact track loader (CTL) is the largest and most powerful CTL ever built. The manufacturer says the power comes from the CTL’s 114-horsepower (85-kilowatt) engine, 6,200-pound (2,812-kilogram) operating capacity, and “outstanding” breakout forces.

“The industry has never seen a CTL like this, and we’re focused on delivering extreme power and performance matched with intuitive technologies that simplify owning and operating,” says CASE Construction Equipment Product Manager George MacIntyre. “The TV620B is built to simplify heavy work such as cold planing, mulching, heavy material handling, and loading high-sided trucks. There’s no loader on the market today with this level of standard features and its combination of power, stability, and performance—it’s here to take on the big work.”

    Ground Performance

CASE reports the TV620B has breakout forces of 12,084 lbs (5,481 kg) with a bucket and 12,907 lbs (5,855 kg) when lifting. The manufacturer offers a wide selection of buckets for the track skid steer, including an 84-inch (213-centimeter), 1.25-cubic-yard (0.96-cubic-meter) bucket specifically designed for use with other heavy-duty attachments, such as CASE’s new grading blade. The skid steer’s heavy-duty 17.7-in. (45-cm) rubber tracks provide stability and the 74-in. (188-cm) track length on the ground maximizes stability while minimizing ground disturbance.

“The combination of strength, performance, and stability of the TV620B is unmatched by any other machine, and provides a robust platform for working with larger buckets and high-capacity attachments,” MacIntyre says.

    Control Features

With adjustable electro-hydraulic controls, the CASE TV620B lets operators adjust hydraulic responsiveness from low to moderate or aggressive. Exclusive to the new model is CASE’s hydraulic on-demand control that lets operators select the percentage of hydraulic flow to the attachment using the in-cab multifunction display. This flexibility lets operators tweak hydraulic performance to manufacturer recommendations or preferred preferences. For exacting control, the TV620B offers independent tilt, lift, and drive speeds. A consistent, slow-creep speed is available that lets operators independently set attachment speed and throttle, improving performance with cold planers and brooms.

“We are giving the operator more precise and intuitive control than they’ve ever had in a CASE CTL, and making the machine as simple to operate for as broad a range of applications as possible,” says MacIntyre.

    Latest Tech

The TV620B includes the CASE SiteConnect module, which supports telematics, remote diagnostics, and remote software updates. “These technologies help CASE and our dealers stay better connected to the service and fleet management needs in the field, and significantly shortens the amount of time it takes to identify machine issues, respond in the field, and ensure optimal uptime,” MacIntyre says. CASE technicians, for example, can remotely diagnose parameter readings and fault codes, among other readings, to see if an issue could be fixed remotely. CASE SiteConnect’s telematics data also offers real-time monitoring of equipment utilization and can be used for record keeping.
