TMJ Auctions is offering this 2017 Freightliner Cascadia 113 as a NON-RUNNING / SALVAGE unit.
IMPORTANT CONDITION DISCLOSURE: Seller records indicate that the Detroit DD13 engine is bad. The specific nature, extent, and cause of the reported engine failure are unknown to TMJ Auctions, and no further diagnosis has been performed.
The transmission has been removed from the truck and is NOT included with the sale. Additionally, the driveline has been taken apart/disassembled. This truck is incomplete and cannot be operated in its current condition.
Due to the truck's condition, the unit was not started, driven, or operationally tested by TMJ Auctions. No representation is made regarding the condition or repairability of the engine or any remaining mechanical, electrical, drivetrain, or other components.
Bidders should assume that additional parts, components, hardware, wiring, hoses, lines, mounts, fasteners, driveline components, or accessories may be missing, damaged, disconnected, or require repair or replacement. TMJ Auctions has not performed a complete inventory of components and does not represent that the transmission and currently visible driveline components are the only parts missing or requiring repair.
BIDDERS ARE STRONGLY ADVISED TO REVIEW ALL PHOTOS AND VIDEOS CAREFULLY. Photos are considered an important part of the condition disclosure. Bidders should inspect the unit in person prior to bidding whenever possible and independently determine the extent of missing components, damage, repairs, and parts required.
This truck should be purchased with the expectation that it will require major mechanical repairs and/or engine replacement, a transmission, driveline reassembly/repair, diagnosis, parts replacement, and potentially additional component replacement before operation.
Buyer is solely responsible for determining what will be required to load, transport, repair, inspect, certify, title/register, or return this vehicle to service.
TMJ AUCTIONS – IMPORTANT BIDDING & CONDITION TERMS
This unit is being sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS, with no warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied.
All information provided in this listing is believed to be accurate but is not guaranteed. Bidders are responsible for independently verifying all specifications, serial/VIN information, mileage, hours, condition, configuration, components, options, and suitability for their intended use prior to bidding.
Known defects or conditions disclosed in this listing are provided as a courtesy and should not be considered a complete list of all defects or deficiencies. The absence of a specific defect from the description does not mean that defect does not exist.
Bidders are strongly encouraged to review all photographs and videos closely and conduct an in-person inspection prior to bidding. Photographs and videos are intended to assist bidders in evaluating the unit and are considered part of the overall condition disclosure.
For vehicles and equipment intended for highway use, the buyer is solely responsible for all repairs, inspections, certifications, permits, registrations, DOT requirements, and roadworthiness/road-legality requirements necessary before operating or transporting the unit on public roadways.
Because this unit is NON-RUNNING, has a reported bad engine, has no transmission installed, and has a disassembled driveline, the buyer should arrive prepared to load and transport the truck without relying on the unit to start, run, drive, or otherwise assist with loading. Any towing, winching, recovery, loading, transportation, or related costs are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
DO NOT BID based on assumptions. Bid based on your own inspection, review of the photographs and information provided, and your independent assessment of the unit’s condition and value.
