Unverferth Bolsters Fertilizer Spreader Lineup With Acquisition Of Force Unlimited
Family-owned Unverferth Manufacturing announced in late January that it has acquired Force Unlimited, an Iowa-based manufacturer of single- and multi-bin pull-type and mounted fertilizer spreaders. Larry Unverferth, president of Unverferth, says the acquisition gives the company a complete lineup of application products for agriculture retailers and farmers.
Rounding Out The Lineup
In operation since 1948, Unverferth manufactures and markets fertilizer applicators, tillage, seed, hay handling, grain handling, and sprayer equipment under the Brent, Killbros, Parker, Top Air, and Unverferth brands. Unverferth the company will continue advancing the innovations Force Unlimited brought about with its spreaders, and expand Force Unlimited’s vision “to make the best, most innovative lineup of dry fertilizer spreaders for greater crop yields while reducing the environmental impact.”
Force Unlimited founder Stan Duncalf will join Unverferth in a product research and development role. He says Unverferth will provide additional manufacturing abilities that will enable continued sales growth, high-level manufacturing, and aftermarket support “for the products I have nurtured for the last 17 years.”
