New Holland Announces Pro-Belt Series & Roll-Belt 450 Utility Plus For Operations Of All Sizes
New Holland's newly expanded round baler portfolio includes the all-new Pro-Belt Series, which is equipped to deliver the automation, dependability, and throughput needs of commercial haymakers and hay contractors. New Holland also launched the Roll-Belt 450 Utility Plus model to provide small farms and livestock operations with a reliable, easy-to-use round baler.
“These new round balers demonstrate New Holland’s commitment to offer more options to better meet customer needs, regardless of operation size, while continuing to raise the bar on equipment and bale quality,” says New Holland Agriculture North America Vice President Sally Johnson.
Pro-Belt Features
The Pro-Belt Series includes the Pro-Belt 450 and 460, both of which are available with New Holland’s SuperFeed rotary feeding system or the Crop Cutter rotary feeding and cutting system. The Pro-Belt 450 produces bale sizes anywhere from 35.5 to 65 inches (90 to 165 centimeters) in diameter, and the Pro-Belt 460 increases bale size range to 75 in. (190.5 cm) in diameter. New Holland built its MaxiSweep pickup technology into the balers to ensure quality throughput, and the ActiveDrop floor system minimizes the risk of crop plugging. Producers can also add IntelliBale technology to automate the tractor stop, bale wrap, and tailgate raise and lower functions.
“When baling is your business, Pro-Belt balers are built to deliver more bales on the ground and performance your operation can depend on,” says Jordan Milewski, conventional haytools marketing manager for New Holland Agriculture North America. “The technology in these balers is second to none, with accurate moisture sensing and available IntelliBale baler automation to deliver the greatest productivity possible.”
The Rugged Roll-Belt 450 Utility Plus
The new SuperSweep pickup found on the new Roll-Belt 450 Utility Plus is wider than past models, with a mechanical stuffer to improve feeding. The baler retains the Roll-Belt series’ easy-to-use design to simplify the production of 4- by 5-foot (122- by 152-cm) round bales and requires a PTO horsepower of just 45 HP.
