Case IH Debuts Steiger 715 Quadtrac Tractor At 2023 Farm Progress Show

Case IH recently showcased its powerful new Steiger 715 Quadtrac tractor at the Farm Progress Show in Decatur, Illinois. Part of the 2024 lineup, the Steiger 715 Quadtrac is the company’s most powerful tractor, with an engine rated for 715 continuous horsepower (533 kilowatts) and 778 peak HP (580 kW).

Power With Purpose

“The Steiger 715 Quadtrac is not just our most powerful tractor to date—it delivers power with purpose. It puts more power to the ground to do more in a day, while being nimble enough to navigate a single lane of traffic,” says Case IH Global Product Manager for Steiger, Tom Curley. “With the addition of the 715, the Steiger line is positioned as one of Case IH’s most flexible tractor offerings."

Work Harder & Smarter

The latest model added to the Steiger line has a new heavy-duty Quadtrac undercarriage with a longer track design for improved traction and flotation to match the tractor’s high horsepower and still reduce soil compaction. The Steiger 715 also has improved visibility with a redesigned hood and exhaust and increased LED lighting.

The brand-new FPT Industrial C16 TST twin-stage-turbine engine was created in partnership with Case IH specifically for the Steiger 715 and delivers 15% more power, making it ideal for higher-acreage operations that need to pull wider implements. The Steiger 715 is also equipped with a 16-speed PowerDrive powershift transmission. Fuel capacity has been increased to up to 520 gallons (1,968 liters) to allow farmers to stay in the field longer.

Inside the cab, operators have access to real-time data, connectivity, and automation controls on Dual Pro 1200 displays to increase efficiency. The tractor is also packed with technology such as AFS AccuGuide for pass-to-pass accuracy and AFS AccuTurn for hands-free steering and automated end-row turns. Operators can work in comfort with a ventilated and heated leather seat with a 40-degree swivel, a telescoping steering wheel with memory lock, and a leather MultiControl armrest.
