New Holland Debuts C330 Vertical Lift Compact Track Loader For Residential Construction & Landscaping
New Holland Construction introduced its new medium-frame C330 vertical lift compact track loader at last week’s ConExpo-Con/Agg 2023 convention. The powerful yet nimble loader has a 68-inch (172.7-centimeter) working width that lets it squeeze through backyard gates, move between houses or buildings, and work in tight spaces on residential construction and landscaping jobsites. The machine incorporates New Holland’s Super Boom vertical length lift design, which incorporates low shoulder positioning and small towers to provide what New Holland describes as a class-leading combination of operator visibility and performance.
“The C330 vertical lift compact track loader creates the perfect mix of job versatility and maneuverability on any residential construction and landscape jobsite,” says New Holland Construction North America Product Marketing Manager, Ryan Anderson. “We can’t wait to get this machine out into the field to showcase how our power management technology and enhanced visibility to get the job done more efficiently performs.”
Super Boom Design
Powered by a 67-horsepower (50-kilowatt) power plant, the C330 can tote a hefty load of rocks, stones, timber, and other materials. Its electrohydraulic controls let operators choose between ISO and H-pattern controls with customizable speed and sensitivity settings, making the C330 a good fit for residential contractors and others looking for one machine that can handle a wide variety of tasks. Operators can also move heavy loads uninterrupted, thanks to power management technology that delivers power to the drives while the loader valve is under load.
The track skid steer’s Super Boom vertical lift arms give operators access to greater height and reach when loading materials into high-sided trucks, New Holland says. Low shoulders, narrow cab pillars, and a large visibility panel in the cab roof combine to provide an excellent view of the surrounding jobsite and overhead attachments.
“Ultimate Operator Ease”
New Holland’s track skid-steer loader lineup includes six other C300-series models with engines ranging from 74 to 114 rated gross HP (55 to 85 kW). Like those models, the C330 includes soft button joysticks and an 8-inch multifunction color display. The display provides vital info including engine performance data, fuel level, battery life, hydraulic oil temperature, and more.
“We designed the C330 vertical lift compact track loader to provide ultimate operator ease with the intent to reduce fatigue and keep the machine’s weight low with truck and trailer weight limitations in mind,” says Anderson. “This can be useful for landscape and residential contractors who may have trailer and truck weight restrictions, but also farmers looking for a machine to move hay bales and other necessities on livestock and crop operations.”
