In June, industry professionals from the auction, agriculture, construction, aviation, and transportation industries converged in Lincoln, Nebraska, for the Sandhills Global Forum. Among the attendees that came for the three days of networking, panel discussions, workshops, and more was Peter Dolezal, the owner of D Equipment Auctions. While he was at the forum, Dolezal shared his experiences working with AuctionTime.

D Equipment Auctions is an online-based auction company that specializes in agriculture and construction equipment, trucks, and trailers, and focuses on straight consignments with independent farmers, fleet companies, and contractors. The company holds its auctions through AuctionTime.com and runs in TractorHouse and Truck Paper, using Pre-AuctionTime to increase exposure to clients’ assets leading up to auction events.
“The biggest benefit I find in using Pre-AuctionTime is maximizing the exposure of the equipment,” says Dolezal. “It reaches all three markets, the retail, the wholesale, and lastly the auction. If it doesn’t sell on the retail side and it does roll to auction, we’ve had that exposure and sometimes we’ve gotten a higher auction value than even the retail value that we set.”
