What’s New At Sandhills Global
Fast Track Iron: New Auto Focus & Quick Filter Features In MarketTrends
Members of Sandhills’ Fast Track Iron dealer network enjoy free access to MarketTrends’ current for-sale prices, after-sale values, and auction results. MarketTrends’ new Auto Focus feature concentrates on the closest-matching, most relevant search results (up to 60) for an asset’s model year, hours or mileage, and location. Quick Filter offers a different, more inclusive perspective that you can adjust and customize.
Create & Send Quick Quotes For Parts
Parts sellers can now generate professional-looking Quick Quotes for their wares in the Sales Management and Inventory Management apps in the Sandhills Cloud. A quote can be created as a PDF, a printout, or an email to send to customers. For more, see our blog post about Quick Quotes.
Activate OS Website Updated
Sandhills Global’s newest acquisition, Activate OS, has a revamped website at ActivateOS.com with all-new content. For more on this game-changing, comprehensive equipment management platform for fleets, dealers, and rental companies, see our recent Activate OS blog post.
New Auction Site Features Streamline Common Tasks
The new My Bids link on AuctionTime.com and Equipmentfacts.com opens a page of active and past auction listings you’ve bid on, where you can filter between auctions in which you were the high bidder or were outbid.
Meanwhile, the Auction Management app in the Sandhills Cloud now lets you designate contacts as consignors, track their lots and auctions, and create settlement reports for them. Auction Management also has a new Batch Email function for sending out multiple invoices simultaneously. Finally, Equipmentfacts now tracks all winning bids for a given user in a single invoice per sale, like AuctionTime. Auctioneers can also send invoices to winning bidders before the sale ends.
AI Search Is Now Even Better For Keyword Searches
Sandhills upgraded the artificial intelligence that powers the keyword search feature on its trade sites and mobile apps. The new AI model improves the accuracy of the search results when users enter complex phrases such as “Bobcat skid steers between 500 and 750 hours.” Sandhills continues to train and improve its AI to help users find the equipment, trucks, and trailers they’re looking for. In other trade site news, aerial equipment formerly categorized under Bucket Lifts on sites such as LiftsToday.com and MachineryTrader.com are now included in the Articulating Boom Lifts category.
