Utility Trailer Introduces New 20K Duct Floor System, Standard On 3000R Trailers
Utility Trailer Manufacturing Company recently revealed its 20K Duct Floor System, the new standard floor for its 3000R refrigerated trailers. It features a floor rating capacity of 20,000 pounds and can support forklifts with 12-inch wide front tires. The floor’s aluminum planks also have an upper wear layer that’s 30 percent thicker than the 16K floor that came before it. Utility says this helps with “increasing service life and delivering optimal performance.”
Delivering Value
“We always look to deliver more value to our customers by continually improving the performance of our trailers, which is why the 20K Duct Floor is the new standard floor on the 3000R,” says Jeffrey Bennett, vice president of engineering and product development at Utility. “The 20K Duct Floor System is the highest-rated standard floor in the industry, and its design keeps the 3000R lightweight, because the floor requires no other structural enhancements.”
